As a proud mother of five and the Founder & Managing Director of Thrive Tours, I stand as a settler deeply committed to being an Indigenous ally. My life is beautifully intertwined with the teachings of nature, further enriched by my Indigenous partner and children. Their influence has been pivotal in opening my eyes to the importance of education in Truth and Reconciliation, driving my passion for cultural awareness and environmental stewardship.

My professional journey is deeply rooted in my love for the outdoors. Whether it's through kayaking, canoeing, hiking, or simply immersing myself in the natural world, I am constantly reminded of our shared responsibility to preserve our planet. This ethos extends to my professional endeavors, where I strive to expand the reach of eco-tourism and Indigenous cultural experiences to international markets, serving as a beacon for other women to expand their professional horizons.

My educational path in Nature Based Adventure Tourism at Cambrian College, which culminated in an outdoor wilderness guiding certificate in 2004, has been the cornerstone of my career. Prior to founding Thrive Tours, I started and managed Mukwa Adventures, a guided ATV tour company, in 2017. My experience there until 2019 provided me with invaluable insights into adventure tourism, setting the stage for my future endeavours.
